The aim of the training is to provide candidates with the working knowledge and skills in the rolls and responsibility of flag man.

The roles of the flag man are very important in the site to safety of moving heavy equipment and ground personnel. Signaling by flaggers and the use of flaggers, including warning garments worn by flaggers, shall conform to OSHA Section 1926.201.
